Serco Occupational Health is established as a leader in providing professional, integrated services and solutions to help businesses develop and improve their corporate healthcare strategy.

Formerly Grosvenor Health Ltd it was founded in 1992 when two small occupational health companies Minerva Health Management and GKN Occupational Health were acquired and merged by the Sedgwick Group to form SNL OH Ltd.

Following Sedgwick's acquisition by Marsh & McLennan we changed our name to Marsh Health, and in early 2000 changed again to Previa UK Ltd following our joining the Capio Group of healthcare companies.

In March 2004 we were sold by Capio to a management team supported by Close Brothers Venture Management Ltd, and adopted the  name Grosvenor Health Ltd.  The next 4 years saw steady growth in the Company including the acquisition of Associated Health Specialists in April 2005, a long established occupational health provider based in Glasgow, and in January 2007 Health Sure UK, also based in Glasgow, who are one of the UK's largest providers of health screening services.

The company had established itself as a leading provider of quality occupational health services throughout the UK and was acquired in May 2008 by Serco.

We have always provided our services nationwide and in Eire, and have established regional teams in support of our local clients. Since 2005 we have either established or strengthened our regional occupational health teams based in Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle, Slough, Luton, Chelmsford, Lowestoft, Brentwood, Cardiff, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Middlesborough, Durham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Durrington, Chatham, Otterbourne, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, and in and around the London area.

We currently have over twenty full time occupational health physicians and more than a hundred nurses and other occupational health staff, supported by dedicated managers and administrators, based at our head office at Redditch in the West Midlands. 

We provide the wide range of occupational health services that many companies require today, and work closely with third party medical services providers such as private medical insurers to integrate our processes and speed positive outcomes.

We also work with many large organisations that have their own internal occupational health services, where we provide either high level occupational health strategic advice or additional resources for specific projects.
