Health Screening

Serco Occupational Health operates over 80 screening locations around the UK at which doctor-led and nurse-led screens are performed. Additionally, our network of nurses can perform health screening at client locations.

Health screening is based on questionnaire review followed by nurse/doctor measurements and tests as well as advice on lifestyle factors. The patient will receive an interim report at the screening followed by a detailed report processed through our central bespoke software.

Stress management

Stress has now overtaken musculo skeletal problems as the number one cause of long-term absenteeism and the Health & Safety Executive have emphasised the legal obligations on employers in relation to stress and risk assessment. Serco Occupational Health can provide or access services to support employers in the prevention and management of stress related illness:

  • Stress audits
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Early assessment and support for key employees
  • Individual assessments and counselling
  • Training in coping with pressure and stress management

Health promotion events in line with national campaigns

We can co-ordinate health fairs, poster and leaflet campaigns, seminars and group work in order to enhance employees' healthy lifestyle choices. Serco Occupational Health will organise bespoke health promotion activities aimed at health protection covering topics such as back pain, upper limb pain, stress, skin care etc.
